About Megabits
Megabits Trust is the New Zealand and Pacific Islands distributor for the Nemetschek North American range of Vectorworks/Renderworks 2D drafting, 3D modelling and rendering CAD software and associated products, Cinema 4D and interiorCAD.
Megabits Trust was created in 1997 by Dave and Marilyn Best. We intend to remain personally interested in your long-term success. Should you require any assistance, please contact us directly. One simple and practical way we can start to help you is to improve your work efficiency using high quality computer aided design and drafting software.
Dave has 15 years experience as a structural engineer involved in architectural and engineering design, estimating, project management and critical path planning, 16 years in management and sales in a computer retail business (including, for a time, the solo parenting of four children) and the last 11 years in management and sales with Megabits Trust. While not front line in the sales role at present, Dave’s experience and wisdom are well used by the team.
Marilyn handles all the administrative and day to day management and current sales management aspects to the business, including overseeing the compiling and despatching of orders. Upgrades and additional licences can be organised at any time. With 24 years experience in the computer industry, including a majority of that time in a technical computer support role, initial installation questions can generally be answered. Marilyn is supported by a capable team in the office.
Andrea Hartmann brings her 3 years experience with Maxon, the German suppliers of Cinema 4D. Andrea helps us to understand the intricacies of this great rendering application and supports the office team in accounting and order despatching.
There are sales agents operating from Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch. This means that if required, an agent can visit your business to help with your CAD selection.
We also use technology that allows us to demonstrate and support your software selection and installation right at your computer desktop, regardless of where you are in the country, at no additional cost to you.
